The Richardson School is now accepting applications for an Instructional Aide at our Brookfield location! The Instructional Aides are responsible for providing direct care to students and those participating in camp, respite, and other programs. Assists students/program participants in meeting their educational, treatment, behavioral, and hygiene needs as identified.
The Richardson School provides a year-round school option for local districts to access for children with special needs. Typically these children have been dually diagnosed with developmental or neurological disabilities and emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders.
The Richardson School serves children with a range of intellectual disabilities, including those who are non-verbal. We serve children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders, learning disabilities, neurological impairments, behavioral disorders, speech and language impairments, genetic disorders, seizure disorders and other neurological disabilities. Children with developmental disabilities, as well as multiple medical conditions, including sight or hearing impairments, are also carefully considered for services, depending on other diagnostic features.
