  • Overview

    Manages and performs operations of the food program; including meal planning and preparation, food service, hygiene, and clean up adhering to public health regulations for food storage and preparation.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates food preparation and meal service for students and staff.
    • Assists in the inspection and accounting of food delivery orders.
    • Monitors food temperatures and expiration dates for proper storage and rotation.
    • Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and work area.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in food preparation.
    • Must have (or complete within first month on the job) and maintain active certification in safe food handling identified by the company.
    • Demonstrated skill in preparation and cooking a variety of foods in large quantities.
